QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

· Highschool Diploma
· SmartServe Certification
· G2 or G License with a clean driver’s abstract
· Provide excellent customer service in a fast paced work environment
· Strong communication skills
· Have a positive and solution oriented attitude
· Ability to work well under pressure and with a team
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Ability to perform high-quality work while unsupervised
· Ability to handle monetary transactions accurately
· Availability to work in shifts including during weekends and evenings

Responsibilities

· Provide an exceptional guest experience by engaging with guests in a timely & friendly manner
· Take food and drink orders accurately and follow up throughout the guest’s experience
· Enter orders into POS system and translate special requests/dietary needs to the kitchen
· Competently understand the menu and make item suggestions
· Ensure guests are enjoying their items ordered and take action to correct any concerns
· Collect payment from guests and positively end their experience at the Blackshop
· Clean tables, empty garbage’s, mop floors and assist with routine cleaning responsibilities
· Help with food preparations when necessary
· Assist with supply inventory and advise management of low inventory
· Other responsibilities as requested by management
