As a Breakfast Server at the Chophouse at the Hilton Bloomington, you will greet and escort guests to their tables, maintaining courteous and efficient dining room operations to ensure superior guest satisfaction. Join our team and become part of our legacy of excellence in hospitality and making every stay truly memorable! What will you be doing? Meet and greet guests as they arrive. Ensure even distribution of tables for each server. Escort guests to tables, hand them menus, wine list, and inform guests of specials. Receive, record, and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant. Verbally communicate to server the table number sat and the number of guests. Beverage table if needed and/or time allows. Clean and display proper menus before, during, and after shift. Assist with all to-go orders. Assist wait staff and bus staff as needed and perform other duties as assigned per Manager. What do you bring to the role? Hospitality or customer service experience preferred. Must be able to work from 6:00am-2:30pm Handle customer complaints with empathy and provide proactive solutions. Proficient in English for guest requests, memos, and reservations. Ability to work POS system and cash handling experience preferred. Maintain a clean and organized environment Ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted on occasion as well as move through crowded rooms to seat guests. Ability to remember, recite, and promote a variety of menu items. What’s in it for you?
