BRIEF DESCRIPTION

The position of Server at Café Postino involves delivering excellent customer service, taking orders, serving
food and beverages, and ensuring a memorable dining experience for guests. As a Server, you will play a key role in maintaining the overall satisfaction of customers and contributing to the smooth operation of the restaurant.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Formal training in hospitality or restaurant service is a plus
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Proven experience as a Server or similar role, demonstrating exceptional customer service
  • Knowledge of food and beverage menu, including ingredients and preparation methods
  • Strong communication skills to interact with guests, take orders, and provide recommendations
  • Ability to handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
  • Positive atitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptability to changing customer demands and busy periods
  • Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and to carry heavy trays
  • Basic math skills for accuracy and cash handling
  • Servers must have or be willing to obtain Smart Serve Certification within 3 months of the hire date
