Overview The Server provides exceptional Royal Service by greeting guests, taking orders, and serving food and beverages promptly. This role ensures a positive dining experience by addressing customer needs, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and collaborating with kitchen staff for accurate order delivery. As a representative of Castle Royal Service, he or she performs all responsibilities while demonstrating outstanding customer service skills. Responsibilities (May include some or all of the following as applicable) Greet residents promptly, make menu recommendations, repeat back orders for accuracy, deliver food and drinks in a timely manner, present check, collect funds for payment and make change quickly. Follows local, state and federal health standards, and follows recipes designed by onsite F&B leadership. Assists with the cleaning, sanitation and organization of the bar, dining room, walk-in coolers and all storage areas. Performs additional responsibilities as requested by the onsite F&B leadership. Hand wash and/or use of industrial dishwashers for glassware and other barware items. Education and Experience High School or GED preferred Prior experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Understanding of basic restaurant sanitation. Continuing education will be offered and administered as needed. Skills and Abilities Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude are essential for success Multilingual preferred but not required Ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and follow directions from supervisors Ability to work fast, effectively and stay focused under pressure Consistently showing up on time and ready to perform all duties as assigned. Capability to manage multiple tables, handle orders, and maintain a clean and organized dining area simultaneously. Must be able to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods of time Physical requirements Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.; work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time, may fluctuate. May handle, finger, grasp and lift objects and packages. Reach with hands and arms, communicate, receive and exchange ideas and information. Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions; complete all required forms.
