JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for the food industry, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing outstanding guest services in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a solid understanding of food service operations.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
  • Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Basic math skills for processing transactions and handling cash accurately.
  • Experience with POS systems is highly desirable; familiarity with Micros POS is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Knowledge of sanitation practices within the kitchen and dining areas is important.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS.
  • Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations to enhance the dining experience through effective upselling techniques.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including tables, utensils, and serving stations.
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Assist in food preparation as needed and support kitchen operations during peak hours.
  • Uphold high standards of hospitality by creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
