Job Overview Opened in 2018, Amira Choice of Plymouth is one of our newest senior communities. We are located at the intersection of Old Rockford Road and Highway 55 in the Northwest suburb of Plymouth, MN. We offer 94 units of Independent, Assisted Living as well as Memory Care and Care Suites. We are looking for a Server/Culinary Assistant to join our team! This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our senior age residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Assisted Living Community, located in Plymouth, MN. This nutrition services schedule includes; 30 hours per two weeks day/early evening shifts every other weekend and holiday rotation This position is responsible for dining room and to go meal service to residents. Responsibilities Serves meals and ensures that the dining area is clean and inviting: Follows meal serving schedule and procedures. Offers resident meal choices and meets resident’s specific dietary needs. Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques. Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures. Follow proper procedures for dining room set-up. Follows proper work flow to stay on task. Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service. Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift. Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction: Welcomes residents and initiates conversation. Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc. Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately. Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.
