Key job responsibilities 主な職務責任: データセンターエンジニアとしてのこの役割では、ITインフラストラクチャのハードウェアライフサイクルのオンサイト管理を担当します。これには以下が含まれます。 * オペレーションチームの一員として、データセンターインフラの保守・維持を主な責務とします。 * 業務内容には、サーバーラックの設置・撤去、各種ITハードウェアやネットワーク機器の修理、運用に影響を及ぼす緊急事態への対応などが含まれます。 * 顧客とのサービスレベル契約を遵守し、ハードウェアのトラブルシューティングや技術的課題に関する第一次対応窓口を担当します。 * オンコール対応を行い、データセンター運用に携わるとともに、定期メンテナンスや変更管理作業を通じてインフラの監視を実施します。 * メトリクス分析および日次・週次目標の進捗確認のためのチームミーティングに参加します。 * 部門内の安全性やセキュリティを含むポリシーと手順を理解し、適切に実践します。 * 運用上の問題に対する根本原因分析を通じて技術文書の作成に携わり、データセンター環境の改善施策に貢献します。 * 経験豊富なエンジニアは、必要に応じて経験の浅いチームメンバーの指導を行います。 Key job responsibilities: In this role as a Data Center Engineer, you will be responsible for the on-site management of hardware lifecycle of our IT infrastructure that includes: * Working as part of the Operations team; whose primary responsibility is the maintenance and upkeep of the data center infrastructure. * Your role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, installing server racks, removing server racks, fixing various IT hardware and network components, and also responding to emergent situations that affect operations. * Meet customer service level agreements by resolving problems, and be the first line touch point for hardware troubleshooting and technical issues. * Perform on-call duties and participate in Data Center operations, handling scheduled maintenance and change management activities that require monitoring of the data center infrastructure. * Participate in team meetings for metric analysis and to discuss achieving daily/weekly goals. * Have the knowledge of the policies and procedures, including safety and security, within your department, and understand the appropriate application of such knowledge. * Contribute to documentation on technical issues through root cause analysis for operational issues that occur, and contribute to process improvement initiatives relevant to the data center environment. * More experienced engineers may assist in training less experienced members of the team. A day in the life 1日の業務内容 * データセンターのインフラ機器（ラック、サーバー、ネットワーク機器、ハードウェア部品、ケーブル等）の保守管理を行います。 * チケットシステムに基づき、サーバーラックの設置・撤去やサーバーハードウェアの修理など、ハードウェアや部品の日常的な運用作業を体系的に実施します。 * オンコール対応を含め、データセンターの運用に携わり、定期メンテナンスや変更管理作業におけるインフラ監視を行います。 * 高度なトラブルシューティングと問題解決能力を発揮します。 * サイト管理に参画し、運用エリアの5S（整理・整頓・清掃・清潔・躾）を徹底します。 * 他のエンジニアチームと交代制シフトで勤務します。シフトは1日10時間（休憩1時間含む）、週4日勤務・週3日休みの体制です。勤務時間帯は8:00～18:00、12:00～22:00、21:45～08:15のいずれかとなります。 A day in the life *You will support Data Center infrastructure equipment (e.g. racks, servers, networking devices, hardware components, cables, etc.) * You will follow the instructions ticket-based environment and work on systematic problem resolution and perform routine operation activities on hardware, or spare parts, including installing and removing server racks and fixing server hardware. * You will perform on-call duties and will participate in Data Center operations, handling scheduled maintenance and change management activities that require monitoring of the data center infrastructure. * Show a strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving. * You will be involved with site management and maintain tidiness in operation areas. * Work in a rotating shift with a team of other engineers. Your standard shift hours are 10 hours with a one hour break. You work on 4 days work shifts and 3 days off in the week. Your standard work hours are 8:00-18:00, 12:00-22:00, 21:45-08:15.
