Experience in working with seniors preferred. Food Handlers Certification. Have or be able to obtain Finger Print Clearance Card, CPR/First Aid, and TB testing clearance. General Summary: The Server provides full-scope, hands on serving functions in the community Culinary Services Department. Responsible in always providing superior level of quality service and cleanliness. Essential Job Duties: Exemplify at all times Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organization. Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards at all times. Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards at all times. Exhibit serving standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency. Set tables and maintain work stations in proper order. Take order, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items. Clear dishes from tables during and after meal service, assist with dish washing, and reset tables. Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere. Knowledge of diets provided and served correctly per Policy and Procedure. Represent community in a warm and inviting manner, which creates a positive marketing environment. Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

Responsibilities

The Server is responsible for providing full-scope, hands-on serving functions within the Culinary Services Department, ensuring superior quality service and cleanliness standards are maintained at all times. Essential duties include setting tables, taking orders courteously, answering menu questions, clearing dishes, assisting with dishwashing, and promoting an inviting dining atmosphere.
