Position Details:

• Hours: 24 hours per week (Full-Time Availability Required)
• Starting Pay: $17.85 per hour plus tips
• Location: Garaku Restaurant, Richmond (Aberdeen Centre)

Ideal Candidate:

• Customer Service Experience: Prior experience in customer-facing roles is required.
• Advanced English Proficiency: Strong communication in English are essential.
• Educational Background:
• Preferably university-graduated in their home country.
• Junior College Co-Op students are welcome to apply.
• Language Skills: Knowledge of Japanese or Chinese is an asset.
• Passion for Cooking: A love for food and a willingness to learn about our menu and kitchen operations.
• Motivated and Team-Oriented: A self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Daily Operations: Oversee the restaurant’s day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth service.
2. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, manage orders, and maintain organization.
3. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure the restaurant adheres to safety and cleanliness standards.
4. Problem-Solving: Quickly address issues as they arise to maintain guest satisfaction and operational flow.
5. Customer Service: Handle guest complaints professionally and maintain high-quality service standards.
6. Feedback Collection: Obtain and analyze guest feedback to improve services.
7. Cash Handling: Manage cash registers
