POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Server, you play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences through warm, attentive service and a genuine passion for hospitality. You’ll guide guests through our unique drink and food offerings, provide arcade game recommendations, and ensure each interaction is fun, seamless, and memorable. Beyond service, you’ll contribute to a clean and organized environment, assist with restocking and shift transitions, and support your team during busy rushes.
This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting, and a proactive attitude toward guest satisfaction and safety.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Possess 1-3 years of hands-on experience serving in a restaurant environment is preferred, ensuring confidence and proficiency in providing top-notch service.
  • Embody qualities such as being fun, dependable, sociable, and genuine, ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere for both guests and team members.
  • Comfortably initiate conversations and interactions with guests, exuding warmth and confidence in every interaction.
  • Have outstanding time management abilities, adeptly juggling multiple tasks while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail
  • Stay organized in fast-paced settings while actively contributing as a team player.
  • Exhibit excellent communication abilities, whether conveying information effectively or actively listening and responding to team members and guests.
  • Adapt quickly to changing guest needs, shift priorities, and operational demands.
  • Comfortably work on foot for extended periods, showcasing stamina and resilience in bustling restaurant settings.
  • Handle physical demands including lifting and reaching, regularly lifting objects up to 25 pounds such as full serving trays, bending to serve food, and reaching to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Confidently upsell food and beverage options to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize sales.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, or willingness to be trained.
  • Must possess valid ProServe certification or be willing to obtain prior to first shift.

AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Typical shifts range between 4–8 hours and may extend into late night hours.

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and honesty in cash handling and POS transactions
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking, cleaning, and setup
  • Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including tables, stations, and restrooms as needed.
  • Restock supplies and communicate inventory needs to ensure service efficiency
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate with all team members to support smooth service transitions
  • Check guest ID when required and monitor guest behavior to ensure safe alcohol consumption and compliance with AGLC and ProServe standards.
