The Location: Hollyburn Country Club is located in West Vancouver at 950 Cross Creek Road. Prior to applying for this position, we strongly encourage you to Google our location to ensure that you will be able to travel to and from work as public transportation is limited.
Position Summary
Our service mission is to provide the Hollyburn Membership with an unparalleled dining experience in a premium casual setting. By delivering exceptional hospitality and attentive service, we aim to create memorable moments that our Members are proud to share with family and friends. As a Server, you will be an integral part of this mission, ensuring each guest enjoys outstanding service that reflects Hollyburn’s commitment to excellence

Position Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, professional, and personalized service to all Members and guests.
  • Maintain a seamless and organized system for serving tables, ensuring timely service and an exceptional dining experience.
  • Offer expert recommendations on food, wine, and beer, using your in-depth knowledge to suggestively sell our menu offerings.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations.
  • Uphold cleanliness and presentation standards in all service areas.
  • Handle guest concerns or feedback with professionalism, escalating issues as necessary to management.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of serving experience in a fast-paced or upscale dining environment.
  • Valid Serving It Right (required)
  • Food Safe Level 1 certifications (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beer, with a passion for hospitality.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Own transportation is an asset, given the Club’s location and limited public transportation options.
  • Candidates must obtain a Police Information Check as part of the onboarding process.
