Compensation: $17.43/HR What will you be doing? · Greets the guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explains any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness, discusses water choices - bottled or tap. · Records the details of the order from the guests, repeating the order to the guest to check for accuracy. Up sells with each opportunity. · Retrieves orders from Food Runner, ensuring all items are to specifications. Abides by all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages. · Replenishes beverages as necessary and checks with guests for overall satisfaction. · Collect payment for check, always thank guest and invite them to return. · Maintain all cleanliness and sanitation along with personal hygiene. What do you bring to the role? · Must have high-level knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette. · Knowledge of the appropriate table settings, service ware, and menu items. · Ability to read, write, and speak the English language sufficient to understand menus, special promotions, record orders, communicates with guests to explain and record orders. · Ability to remember, recite, and promote the variety of menu items. · Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 30 lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout shift. · Ability to operate a keyboard, learn Point of Sales procedures to pre-check orders, and close out the check. · Prior food and beverage experience required. Prior hospitality experience preferred. · Ability to learn wine varieties, vintage and labels.
