As a Server at Mason Street Grill, you will tailor each experience to the guest, providing food and beverage service in a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner. You will help create memorable dining moments that reflect the warmth, style, and excellence of Mason Street Grill. Mason Street Grill in downtown Milwaukee has become a local favorite for wood-grilled steaks, fresh seafood, handcrafted cocktails, and jazz music. Whether it’s the enticing aromas from the grill, the background sounds of live music, or the taste of a refreshing cocktail after a long day at work, we want to ensure that our guests’ time with us will bring them back again and again. What you will be doing: · Greet guests, present menus, and explain specials & promotions. · Record and input guest orders into the Point-of-Sale system, upselling at every opportunity. · Deliver food and beverages accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with liquor regulations. · Replenish beverages, check back frequently, and anticipate guest needs. · Collect payment, thank guests, and invite them to return. · Complete side work and cleaning tasks, including restocking condiments and supplies. · Support teammates by assisting co-workers and working collaboratively. · Perform other duties as assigned by management. Position Requirements: · Previous serving, food and beverage, restaurant, or hospitality experience required. · Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. · Ability to maintain composure and deliver service under pressure. · Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards, etiquette, and guest relations. · Proficient in English for menu comprehension, order taking, and guest communication. · Strong recall skills to recommend and promote menu items. · Ability to carry trays up to 30 lbs. through crowded spaces. · Professional demeanor and a clean, well-maintained uniform.
