An Elevated traditional style Taverna, featuring contemporary Greek fare from Chef Mark Andelbradt, Naxos Taverna serves approachable Mediterranean seafood-focused cuisine cooked from the soul. Position Summary: Our servers provide gracious hospitality while guiding guests through memorable dining experiences. Duties and Responsibilities: Greet guests with a warm welcome. Follow steps of service outlined in training guide. Ability to multitask and prioritize. Writes down all orders. Maintain vast food and beverage knowledge to properly guide guests. Follow all SNHD food and sanitation guidelines. Must have a SNHD Food Handler card up to date. Must have TAM Card up to date. Keep side stations always clean and organized. Communicate clearly and kindly to support staff. Reports all breakage, damage to equipment or furniture immediately to management. Thoroughly check ID to ensure guests are of proper drinking age. All other duties assigned. Ideal Candidate: Minimum 2-years’ experience as a Food Server in full service, moderate to high volume restaurants. Proficient with Micros POS system. Strong interpersonal skills. Vast product knowledge. Professional verbal and written communication with guests, co-workers, and leadership. Must be organized, self-motivated, and proactive with a strong attention to detail. Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time.
Responsibilities
Servers are responsible for providing gracious hospitality by warmly greeting guests and guiding them through memorable dining experiences while accurately recording all orders. They must maintain extensive food and beverage knowledge to properly advise guests and adhere strictly to all food and sanitation guidelines.
