Overview You will be an integral member of the team that creates distinctively different and authentic experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, serve food and beverages, and checking on guest satisfaction. You will use the freedom to go beyond to turn guest interactions into moments of magic. Responsibilities Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests Set tables according to service standards Answer questions on menu selections to guests Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, recooking orders, and product availability Cut fruit and prepare for service Know all specialty cocktail ingredients and garnishes Participate in updated training for the bar and menu items Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen Record transaction in MICROS system at time of order Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc. Present physical and accurate check to guests and process payments Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards Run food and bus tables when you find extra time Anticipate and address guests` service needs Speak with others using clear and professional language Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support your team to reach common goals Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Thank guests with genuine appreciation Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors Additional Duties & Responsibilities: Adhere to departmental policies and procedures Effectively communicate with peers, management, line and front of the house employees Practice effective listening: (seek to understand) Perform related duties as required Be responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area as well as the general property Subscribe to proper grooming, dress and uniform standards as set forth by Company policy Be courteous to all guests and coworkers Maintain behavior consistent with sexual harassment/hostile work environment policy dictated in the Employee Handbook Be familiar with all Hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately Maintain knowledge of liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections Qualifications Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational individual Must be able to speak, comprehend, read, and write English Must have strong communication skills Ability to implement and uphold service standards Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the resort Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time Experience, Education, & Licensure: High School diploma preferred Food Handler’s Certification required RBS certification required Compensation Base Pay Start Rate: $16.90/ Hr. + Tips
