OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for the food industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience by providing attentive service, accurate order taking, and timely delivery of food and beverages.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 3 years of serving experience in a high-volume or fast-paced environment
  • Smart Serve certification
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and order calculations.
  • Strong time management abilities to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
  • Experience with POS systems; familiarity with TouchBistro POS is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork mentality.
  • Flexibility to work Friday and Saturday
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 6 – 20 per week

Responsibilities
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system (TouchBistro experience is an asset).
  • Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience.
  • Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Provide exceptional, attentive service to guests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow and promptly address any guest concerns.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and promotions.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure all guests receive prompt attention throughout their dining experience..
