Thank you for your interest in Durham Region’s newest restaurant - OneTen Kitchen + Bar! The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced Server at fast-paced high volume along with the ability to execute at a high level of guest service.
This concept will not just be about serving delicious food; we’ll be curating experiences through a restaurant that has heart, good values, great people and innovative ideas to redefine dining experiences. REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent interpersonal skills: Servers need to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, so strong communication and people skills are essential.
• Guest service: Providing exceptional service to ensure guest satisfaction and create a positive dining experience.
• Menu knowledge: Understanding the menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens to make recommendations and answer guest questions.
• Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple tables efficiently, and ensure that food and beverages are delivered promptly.
• Teamwork: Collaborating effectively with other restaurant staff, including kitchen workers, bartenders, and fellow servers to deliver seamless service.
• Attention to detail: Accuracy in taking orders, delivering the correct food and beverages, and ensuring that guests requests are fulfilled.
• Problem-solving: Quickly resolving issues or handling guests complaints with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Adaptability: Being able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle stress, and adjust to changing circumstances in the restaurant.
• Availability: Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
