Job Title: Server
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, possess strong communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately
- Deliver orders promptly and ensure accuracy
- Upsell menu items and specials to increase revenue
- Assist with basic food preparation when needed
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cashier effectively
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitize work areas
- Provide exceptional guest services to enhance the dining experience
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Uphold restaurant policies and standards of quality
Skills:
- Proficiency in basic math for handling transactions
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of hospitality industry practices
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and help out in various tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- 19+ and Serving it Right Certificate
