About the role Servers play a pivotal role in the guest experience at Ascension Coffee, providing genuine hospitable service in a warm environment. What you'll do Greet all guests with genuine hospitality Take guest's drink and food orders Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner Suggest different drinks, appetizers and meals to customers based on the menu and coffee Work closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience Confirm orders with the baristas, chefs and bartenders whenever a clarification is requested Assist with setting and rearranging tables to accommodate larger parties Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods (up to 8 hours) Strong customer service skills required Ability to utilize a restaurant POS software platform a plus Extensive training provided Qualifications· One year of high volume server experience.
