About the Role: As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service. Your primary objective is to ensure customer satisfaction by accurately taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing any guest needs or concerns promptly. You will collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate timely and accurate order delivery. This role requires maintaining a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all health and safety regulations. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and positive reviews. Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Previous experience in a customer service or food service role preferred but not required. * Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members. * Basic math skills for handling transactions. * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. * Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. * Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems. * Strong multitasking and organizational skills. * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities: * Greet and seat guests in a courteous and professional manner. * Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods. * Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system. * Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring order accuracy and presentation standards. * Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or special requests. * Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate order timing and delivery. * Process payments and provide correct change or receipts. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations. * Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment. Skills: The required communication skills are essential for interacting with guests to take orders accurately and provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience. Basic math skills are used daily to handle billing and process payments efficiently. Organizational skills help manage multiple tables and orders simultaneously, maintaining smooth service flow. Preferred skills such as familiarity with POS systems streamline order entry and payment processing, reducing errors and wait times. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation ensures compliance with health regulations, contributing to a safe and clean environment for both guests and staff.
