Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Greet guests by name to the best of their ability
- Present menus and provide detailed information about the weekly offerings
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly
- Enter orders into the POS system and ensure accuracy
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any issues or concerns
- Prepare and deliver checks to guests, process payments, and handle cash transactions
- Collaborate with service assistant staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Assist with setting up tables for banquets, setting up buffets and cleaning dining areas, and maintaining overall cleanliness of the restaurant and event spaces
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Server or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Sales-oriented mindset to upsell menu items and promote specials
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
- Willingness to learn about culinary offerings and make recommendations to guests
