As a Restaurant Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, delivering food and drinks, and providing outstanding customer service. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Requirements Job Responsibilities • Greet customers upon arrival and provide them with menus • Take orders and serve food and drinks to customers • Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals • Process customer payments and provide change • Process customer orders in a timely and efficient manner • Clean tables and remove used dishes • Set up tables with clean linen, condiments, and other needed items • Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations • Ensure that all food and drinks are served in accordance with health and safety regulations • Refill drinks as needed • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction • Provide excellent customer service to all guests Job Requirements • Ability to memorize menu items, descriptions, and prices • Ability to handle multiple orders simultaneously • Ability to take guests' orders accurately and in a timely fashion • Ability to recommend menu items • Ability to upsell menu items • Ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally • Ability to operate a cash register • Ability to understand and follow health and safety regulations • Ability to work well with fellow servers and kitchen staff • Ability to properly clean and reset tables • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment • Ability to stand for long periods of time
Responsibilities
