Responsibilities: - Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner - Take customer orders and provide menu recommendations - Upsell food and beverage items to increase sales - Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner - Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues promptly - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order preparation - Handle cash and process payments using a POS system - Utilize OpenTable or similar software to manage reservations and seating arrangements Skills: - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a positive dining experience - Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety procedures - Strong math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills - Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and payment handling - Ability to upsell menu items to increase sales revenue - Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members - Prior experience in the hospitality or food service industry is preferred
