Qualifications

  • Server experience preferred
  • Current provincial ProServe Certification considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of drinks and standard cocktails
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to handle groups and large parties
  • Great Communication and presentation
  • Excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

Our servers are to provide a professional yet exciting dining experience, by creating a positive and authentic connection to customers and their families. As part of an ever changing day with no hour being the same, our servers will be light on their feet and energetic! Help us serve ‘fun’ at Speeders!

JOB DUTIES

  • Provide excellent customer service and experiences
  • Make suggestions based on customers dietary requirements or time limitations
  • Take, input into POS and serve food/drinks orders
  • Keep tables clean and tidy at all times
  • Deliver checks and collect payments
  • Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff and other service team members
  • Adhere to all relevant health department laws/regulations and all customer service guidelines
  • Enthusiastic, outgoing and positive attitude
  • Checking identification of patrons for age restricted products
  • Refusing service, arranging a taxi or even calling the police if necessary.
  • Collect payment and operate POS.
  • Other duties as required
