OVERVIEW

Chuck’s Roadhouse Bar and Grill - Airport (Carlingview & Dixon) is seeking a professional, high-energy Server/Supervisor with excellent communication skills to serve amazing food and provide the ultimate guest experience! The Server/Supervisor will greet guests, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages/food. Our ideal candidate will be proficient in up-selling, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties in addition to leading a team of amazing individuals and running successful services

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in Bartending, Serving and Supervising
  • Knowledge of food safety guidelines and regulations
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with patrons
  • Proficiency in basic math for handling transactions
  • Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations and food service industry practices
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
    Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests in a happy, upbeat manner as they come through our doors, setting the tempo for the amazing service they’re about to receive
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following company specs
  • Suggest new menu items to guests, asking questions to understand their palate and recommending classics to fulfill their individual needs and wants
  • Respond quickly to any requests from guests in a professional and polite manner
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and adhere to all food safety regulations
  • Handle cash and credit transactions using our POS system
  • Monitoring and restocking bar/server inventory and supplies, placing orders as needed
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service
  • Check guest identification to verify age and guarantee they are of legal drinking
  • Control labour efficiently, constantly monitoring staffing levels and business needs
  • Monitor the restaurants atmosphere by adjusting the light system, music level and appropriate TV events being broadcast.
  • Monitor guest comments and feedback
  • Ensure that the dining room is setup and consistently maintained
  • Assists in training when necessary.
  • Direct and monitor side duties.
  • Opening and closing procedures.
