Duties
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Upsell menu items and specials to increase sales
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service throughout the dining experience
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and courtesy
- Process customer payments using a POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change
- Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and practices
