About the role

As a Floor Server at Golf Fang, it is your role to ensure that our guests have the best experience! Making sure that they are comfortable and happy throughout their visit, serving drinks on the course so they can enjoy making their way around without going to the bar!

Essential

• Customer service experience
• Effective communicator
• Effective time management and organisation skills
• PC literate with ability to use booking systems and mobile devices for drinks orders

Desired

• Previous experience in hosting or serving
• Basic knowledge of bar products
• Cash and payment card handling experience

Full training on brand values, products and service standards will be provided to any individual successful in this process.

We've recently opened after refurbishment as one of the area's destination pubs, a premium, community-anchored venue built around brilliant basics, genuine hospitality, and an experience worth talking about. We're not chasing trends for the sake of it, we're building a team that makes every guest feel like a regular, whether it's their first visit or their fiftieth.

We operate under Punch Pubs, an independent pub company with around 1,300 pubs across the UK, committed to empowering and working alongside the very best Publicans and Management Partners to build and grow best-in-class community pubs.

We're looking for fun, enthusiastic, and passionate Bar Staff / Servers to join our hard-working team and help bring our exceptional standards and values to life, front and centre with our guests. Looking for full time position only.

The Role

As Bar Staff / Server, you'll be at the heart of the guest experience, welcoming, serving, and looking after customers so every visit feels warm and memorable. You'll work closely with the wider team to keep service running smoothly, even when it's busy.

Main Responsibilities:

• Guest Experience — Deliver a warm, welcoming, and attentive experience to every guest, anticipating their needs and going the extra mile wherever possible
• Service Standards — Serve pints, make cocktails, and serve food to guests in our restaurant area, maintaining a high standard of presentation and cleanliness across the floor and bar at all times
• Team Work — Work proactively with kitchen and front-of-house colleagues to keep service flowing smoothly, especially during busy periods
• Compliance — Follow all health and safety, food safety, and licensing requirements, including responsible service of alcohol
• Cash Handling — Accurately process orders and payments using the till system
• Product Knowledge — Build and maintain a strong knowledge of the food and drink offer to make helpful recommendations to guests
• Standards & Cleanliness — Support with setting up and closing down the bar and floor areas to the required standard

• Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or pub is essential
