We are a small boutique Hotel with a big personality, and we are seeking for candidates with exceptional people skills, take pride in delivering an excellent level of customer service and know how to have a bit of fun at work. Our restaurant is full of character, regulars we adore and a team that has each other’s back. We need someone with an attitude that says “I’ve got this” even on mad days.
If you’ve got a smile, a bit of a spark and can handle a busy shift without letting go of composure or losing your sense of humour, we’d love to hear from you!
Let’s be honest- hotels don’t sleep and neither does great service. For this position, you’ll need to be flexible with availability and happy to work a mixed variety of shift patterns, including mornings evenings, weekends and holidays. If you’re the type who likes variety and being where the action is, you’ll fit right in!

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly attitude.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations and upselling items when appropriate.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring that all orders are delivered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the kitchen where necessary and ensure that all culinary standards are met.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils.
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to exceed their expectations.
  • Collaborate and communicate efficiently with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Knowledge of culinary practices and food safety regulations is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and fellow team members.
  • A team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues in a dynamic environment, fast paced environment.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges within the restaurant setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract
