JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a dynamic dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food service industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred, with knowledge of food service operations.
  • Culinary experience is a plus, along with familiarity with food preparation and safety standards.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests effectively.
  • Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently.
  • Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Knowledge of sanitation practices within the food industry is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent guest services throughout their dining experience.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
  • Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
  • Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and presentation.
  • Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, basic math, and cashiering duties.
  • Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and positive guest relations.
