Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
- Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining area
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent customer service and guest relations skills
- Knowledge of culinary terms, ingredients, and preparation methods is a plus
- Ability to upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience
- Familiarity with point-of-sale software is a plus
