What You’ll Handle: · Provide knowledgeable, professional upscale dining service. · Be fully familiar with menus and daily offerings. · Maintain knowledge of beverage selections, including wine, beer, and spirits. · Perform daily side work to ensure smooth operations. · Complete tasks as assigned by the manager or supervisor. · Greet all guests warmly with a smile and professional demeanor. · Maintain cleanliness and order in the restaurant before, during, and after service. · Operate the Point-of-Sale system accurately. · Support teammates whenever needed, maintaining a strong commitment to teamwork. · Stay in motion—balancing efficiency and control between the dining room floor and the kitchen. What You Need to Bring: · Previous experience in hospitality, guest service, or dining service. · Dependability, organization, and commitment to excellence. · Working knowledge of food safety and proper food handling. · Strong sense of accountability for your workspace and schedule. · Initiative—you handle tasks without needing to be asked. Hazards Encountered: This role involves working with kitchen tools, machinery, and equipment that can be potentially hazardous if not handled correctly. The environment includes hot foods, liquids, pans, and grease, as well as wet or slippery surfaces. Cleaning and sanitizing chemicals are also used and must be handled safely to prevent injury or contamination. Heavy lifting, carrying, and handling materials are required, and proper technique must be used to avoid injury.
