Job Details Job Location: College Station, TX 77840 SERVER This job posting contains some general information about what it is like to work at Wings ‘N More Restaurants and is not a complete job description. Wings ‘N More Team Members perform a number of different tasks every day, and this posting does not list all of the essential functions of the job. The purpose is to serve food and/or beverages to guests according to Standards and in alignment with the Restaurant’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner. Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their meal. Knowledgeable about all menu items, restaurant promotions and beverages served; their garnish, contents and preparation methods. Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system. Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner. Must complete necessary side-work as per schedule, this includes stocking and organizing all supplies, etc. Take and know inventory at all times, and requisition daily supplies as needed to ensure efficient operations. Maintain regular attendance, consistently on time, and observe prescribed work, break and meal periods in compliance with standards. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code. Perform any other duties as requested by supervisor. Excellent customer service skills: Respond to requests for service and assistance. Demonstrate the desire and ability to provide high quality service to both internal and external customers. Solicit customer feedback to improve service. Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or equivalent One to two years related experience and/or training. QUALIFICATIONS Ability to read and write and speak English, and comprehend simple instructions in English Ability to operate POS equipment PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Position is expected to: Stand more than 3/4 of the time Walk more than 3/4 of the time Sit less than 1/4 of the time Reach with hands and arms more than 2/3 of the time Lift up to 35 pounds. Push / pull up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
The server is responsible for serving food and beverages to guests while ensuring their satisfaction throughout the meal. They must respond to guest requests promptly and maintain high standards of service.
