SERVICE DEPARTMENT OPPORTUNITY: SERVICE ACCOUNT MANAGER

We are currently looking for a Service Account Manager to join our Service team located at our office in Nashville, TN. Our ideal candidate for a Service Account Manager is someone who is personable, high energy, and who will bring a strong sense of leadership, direction and commitment to our service group and clients.

Primary qualifications for icon’s Service Account Manager include:

  • Proven working experience in the Mechanical/HVAC industry.
  • HVAC trade school or college degree is a plus.
  • Knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment, piping systems, and sheet metal.
  • Ability to build preventive maintenance agreements to meet all the client’s needs and provide options in a fiduciary manner.
  • Ability to work within deadlines while having to multi-task with changing priorities.
  • Demonstrate confidence in their knowledge and are committed to researching the answers and finding the right solution for things they do not know.
  • Identify customer’s operational and environmental objectives, needs, and requirements. Actively listen, probe, and identify concerns. Clarify Icon’s capabilities and expertise and provide strategic technical solutions
Responsibilities
  • Maintaining the highest level of respect, support, and team atmosphere.
  • Creating positive working relationships and maintaining regular contact with assigned accounts and potential clients.
  • Positioning renewable service agreements as valuable, cost-effective partnerships and budgets whenever feasible.
  • Assisting in estimating costs for HVAC and plumbing repairs.
  • Collaborating with technicians and clients to assess repair needs and provide detailed service proposals.
  • Creating competitive, high-quality, and timely estimates and proposals. Negotiating value, address resistance, and close the sale.
  • Tracking renewal dates on maintenance contracts and ensuring customer satisfaction and positive account status before contract expiration.
  • Monitoring and maintaining service sales email inbox for support to service techs and new or existing clients to promptly provide repair and replacement cost options in addition to maintaining regular follow-up with Clients.
  • Seeking in-house technical advice and support whenever necessary, ensuring each proposal satisfies the customer’s service needs and wants.
  • Promoting icon’s various offerings where practical and communicating potential opportunities to the Service sales manager.
  • Keeping the service sales manager informed of progress, account status, and recent sales leads.
  • Maintaining close communication with Tech is essential for correctly understanding the client’s needs and providing practical solutions.
