About the Role Hastings Deering is currently looking for a Service Administrator to join our team in Mackay. This is a Permanent Full Time position working Monday – Friday. As a Service Administrator, some of your responsibilities may include: Ensure Safety Goals are achieved through personal commitment, no harm to self or others and participation in safety initiatives. Work closely with other team members in a busy environment with an emphasis on active listening, proactive work ethic, fairness and trust. Co-ordinate training of Nata certified qualifications i.e. Standard 11, working at heights etc. and ensuring technicians qualifications are up to date. Organising mine site inductions for various mine sites throughout the Bowen Basin and ensuring technicians are compliant to access site prior to arriving. Co-ordinate maintenance for vehicles with various vendors Raise and manage purchase requisitions. Proficient in managing excel spreadsheets and registers with consistent attention to detail. Managing work schedules for department employees to facilitate training functions and compliance. Performing stocktakes of items and auditing of assets within department. Administer HDAL training requirements to department members through the Success Factors portal. Adhoc admin duties as requested by supervisor Booking accommodation and travel for employees within department. About You A successful teammate will have experience in: Proven administrative work history with demonstratable experience. A strong focus on teamwork and customer service delivery Desired experience in an administrative position within a fast-paced environment, efficient data entry skills and high attention to detail are essential. Ability to work with management and staff to assist in the delivering of required outcomes. Effective time management skills, along with well-developed (verbal and written) communication skills. Be able to show initiative, solve problems and make decisions.
