Description Ascendum Machinery, a leading Volvo Construction Equipment dealer, is offering an excellent opportunity for a Service Advisor. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced person to fill this role. RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete clerical processes for maintaining Service Department Work in process; email, phone or fax work orders and estimates for purchase orders, complete/close warranty work orders, complete/close internal and customer orders. Assist in maintaining records of shipping & receiving reports for equipment & attachments. Maintain records of equipment inspections, including documentation and pictures. Assist in the development and maintenance of branch files including customer equipment sales, work orders, etc. Maintain internal and customer equipment PM service logs and monitor CareTrack for scheduling PM services as required. Assist with machine and attachment inventory account, with monthly monitoring and required periodic inspections. Assist in coordination for IT maintenance of PC’s, phones, printers, copy machines and postal equipment. Other duties as may be assigned to meet company goals and objectives. Requirements EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES/PROFICIENCIES: Experience and/or Education: High School Diploma and/or associates degree in a relevant field Computer Skills: The employee can use the equipment and software required to accomplish the responsibilities of this position. Knowledge of Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Possess ability to communicate with customers and co-workers in a positive and enthusiastic manner. Maintain an approachable and friendly demeanor. Strong organizational skills and teamwork abilities, Customer orientation toward service and building relationships. Compatible to working branch hours and extended days as needed. Responsibilities
