Cam Clark Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Service Advisor for our Cam Clark Ford location in Olds, AB.

In the position of Service Advisor, reporting to the Service Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for being the critical link between our customers and the shop, listening to customer concerns, assessing their needs, as well as keeping them informed on the progress of their repair. If you have no experience and are willing to learn, we will provide training!

You will be accountable for:

  • Greeting customers and creating an exceptional experience for our guests, from intake to release of their vehicles.
  • Completing vehicle walk-around and advising guests on recommended maintenance and repairs.
  • Setting clear expectations and keeping guests updated regarding vehicle status and any changes in the cost-estimation. Promise time, or service recommendations.
  • Translating customer-reported problems into actionable work orders for technicians to complete.
  • Work closely with Technicians and Parts Department to prepare estimates of labour hours and parts required for repairs.
  • Verifying post-maintenance checks have been performed to ensure properly repaired vehicles.
  • Invoicing and collecting payment from guests and charging accounts for services rendered.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and entering data into the computer database.
  • Other duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid driver’s licence and a clean driver’s abstract
  • High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
  • Attention to detail, prioritization skills and time management
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Excels at being part of a team
  • Strong computer skills
  • Punctual and reliable
  • DMS experience, specifically PBS, is considered an asset
  • Experience in the automotive industry is considered an asset
