Description
We are looking to hire a Service Advisor on behalf of an Automotive Company in Basra. The Service Advisor is responsible for welcoming customers, promoting a professional and efficient service image, and ensuring all customer needs are met promptly and accurately. This role involves communicating service requirements, preparing accurate job documentation, estimating costs, and keeping customers informed throughout the repair process - maintaining customer satisfaction and trust in the service operations. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Greet customers and accurately identify their service needs. Ensure all vehicle-related documents (license and insurance) are ready before vehicle inspection. Provide customers with cost estimates and secure approval before proceeding with repairs. Record all customer information and service details clearly and accurately on the Job Card. Ensure replaced parts are properly stored in the vehicle and that work areas remain clean and organized. Handle telephone service inquiries professionally and provide accurate information. Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area at all times. Ensure job card instructions are clear and understandable for technicians. Verify warranty coverage and inform customers of their rights. Coordinate with the Workshop Controller to schedule appointments and optimize shop workload. Maintain strong knowledge of company products, services, prices, and current promotions. Promote additional services to maximize customer satisfaction and service profitability. BSc. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar field. Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role within the automotive industry. Fluency in Arabic and Intermediate English is required.
