Description

Festing Toyota is always looking for new talent and currently has an opening for a Service Advisor to complete our team.
We’re looking for a flexible team player to complete our roster so that we’re ready to go when our new state of the art facility is completed in October 2025.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in a dealership service environment, however we are willing to train the right individual.
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean driver’s abstract
  • Must be able to work half day Saturdays as scheduled (seasonal)
  • Able to drive both manual and automatic transmission is an asset
  • Able to work well both in a team environment and independently
  • Highly organized and pays attention to detail
Responsibilities
  • Greet all customers promptly or acknowledge their presence when working with another customer.
  • Assist customers with service requests.
  • Complete a walk-around inspection and obtain an accurate odometer reading prior to writing up the repair order.
  • Relay repair instructions to the technicians with as much detail as possible.
  • Obtain customer’s signature or documented approval on all repair orders.
  • Provide quotes and/or estimates for labour and parts for technician recommended services.
  • Contact the customer by telephone, email or text for work order approval if unauthorized at time of initial meeting.
  • Manage customer expectations before, during and after the vehicle’s repair and provide status updates throughout the day.
  • Explain the details of the work completed during the cash out process.
  • Ensure all work has been completed and invoiced correctly prior to customer delivery.
  • Arrange for Quality Inspections of completed vehicles as necessary.
  • Arrange for shuttle services as required.
  • Contact customers to book appointments when special-order parts arrive.
  • Resolve customer concerns courteously and promptly, or refer to Fixed Operations Manager.
  • Maintain awareness of factory-recommended maintenance schedules and warranty coverage.
  • Add parts to repair orders if parts personnel are unavailable
