GABRIELLI TRUCK SALES IS LOOKING TO HIRE A SERVICE ADVISOR!

We are a professional commercial diesel equipment corporation, family owned and operated with 22 successful facilities in the tri-state area and growing! This role is multi-layered, encompassing responsibilities that requires an ideal candidate that can fulfill the following responsibilities within a fast pace/ high energy environment and alongside a team of fellow advisors and senior management.

Responsibilities: include but are not limited to the following description and or detail.

  • Communicate with customers from greeting and performing intake to ensuring satisfaction that all needs are met in a professional and efficient manner. Includes constant status updates and revisions to work detail to fit customer needs.
  • Effectively communicate with customers in an appropriate and timely manner via phone and through case platforms.
  • Perform visual walk-through inspections on customer’s vehicle to itemize concerns and or note any follow-up questions or details
  • Follow/ track work orders from beginning to end which includes invoicing and or filing warranty claims to hand off to warranty dept
  • Update customers on status, post interoffice updates on cases as well as to dealer representatives and manufacturers across several platforms: Asist/ Decisiv/ Outlook
  • Confer with sales, accounting, leasing and parts departments to ensure proper protocol is followed for each repair order.
  • Consistently use Critical thinking and problem-solving skills both independently and cooperatively with a team to creatively implement necessary workflow.
  • Managing and implementing manufacturer guidelines to assure best practices and standards are maintained.
  • Invoicing and receiving payments for work orders
  • Use diagnostics equipment to check vehicles in and retrieve digital details to transfer and complete work order fulfillment
  • Create and allocate vendor purchase orders.
  • Create estimates and receive customer approval for work orders. Review repair orders and ensure work is completed and authorized.
  • Capacity to learn and facilitate multiple platforms to provide superior workflow.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates degree minimum
  • Cdk experience preferred not mandatory
  • 1 year dealership and or similar experience
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret technician write ups, manufacturer documents and summarize in grammatically correct format.
  • Ability to serve customers with a commitment to excellence with follow up and resolution of work orders ability to solve practical problems, carry out instructions
  • Multitasking individual to handle day to day responsibilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office, google, computer basics
  • Positive, friendly and takes pride in all aspects of career
