We have openings NOWfor a Service Advisor to work out of our Barrie location.
We are looking for the right candidates to help us fulfill our growing requirements.
The Service Advisor will be responsible for scheduling service work in the service department and for selling recommended or required services to customers. They will act as KTC’s first-line of Contact. The Service Advisor is responsible for gathering and interpreting information on vehicle condition from the Service Technicians to advise the customer on recommended or urgently required services and communicate this information in a professional manner, explaining the benefits of services and the potential outcomes of postponing repairs.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following skills and attributes:
· Ability to interact professionally with Customers as it relates to repair requirements.
· Use of tact and diplomacy
· Technical understanding & attention to detail
· Clear and Concise documentation skills
· High comfort level in the use of in-house software
· Prior Experience in a similar role
· Previous experience with PACCAR/CUMMINS would be an asset
· Previous Truck Dealership experience
