Description Midway Motors is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. This role serves as the main point of contact between our customers and service department by helping customers understand their vehicle needs, coordinating repairs and maintenance, and delivering an exceptional service experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and committed to providing outstanding customer service while supporting the values and culture of our team. Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues Explain recommended repairs, maintenance services, timelines, and costs clearly Keep customers updated throughout the repair process Obtain approvals for additional repairs or changes to estimates Educate customers on vehicle maintenance and manufacturer recommendations Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and professionalism at all times Promote dealership services, maintenance programs, and current promotions Service Operations Schedule service appointments and manage incoming service calls Create accurate repair orders and maintenance recommendations Coordinate workflow between customers and technicians Review vehicle history and recommend additional maintenance or repairs as needed Prepare detailed estimates for parts and labor Verify warranty coverage and payment methods when applicable Monitor repair progress and ensure timely completion of work Review completed repair orders for accuracy before closing Assist with quality control to help eliminate repeat repairs Ensure vehicle keys, paperwork, and parking procedures are organized and secure General Expectations Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment Work collaboratively with team members and leadership Adapt to changing priorities in a high-volume environment Perform additional duties as assigned by management Qualifications Previous customer service experience required Automotive service advisor experience preferred, but not required Strong communication and multitasking skills Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Basic computer and phone skills Valid driver’s license required What We’re Looking For Put people first Work well as part of a team Take pride in serving their community Bring energy and professionalism to work every day Thrive in a fast-paced environment Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic Benefits Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) Employee discounts Opportunities for growth and advancement Join a team that values culture, teamwork, and delivering an exceptional experience to every customer. Requirements Job Qualifications BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES) High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1-year relevant experience Valid driver’s license with satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Three or more years sales experience in the automotive industry Previous work experience working directly with the public, selling or influencing others, establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships, and communicating with persons outside the organization via phone, face-to-face, email and/or social media. Attention to detail Customer-focused with the ability to communicate directly with customers, explaining vehicle details, recommendations and costs Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to enter data and process information Cooperative spirit that requires being pleasant with others on the job and displaying good-natured, cooperative attitude; being sensitive to other’s needs and feelings while being understanding and helpful Professional appearance and work ethic Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and ability to work within a fast-paced environment PHYSICAL DEMANDS These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Responsibilities
Acts as the primary liaison between customers and the service department to coordinate vehicle repairs and maintenance. Responsibilities include documenting vehicle issues, providing cost estimates, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
