Peterbilt Manitoba Ltd. seeks a customer-centric and enthusiastic Service Advisor to join our team at the Winnipeg location. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, the Service Advisor is responsible for providing professional and reliable customer service assistance to our valued customers in regard to servicing their heavy-duty trucks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of one year in a customer service role is required
  • Previous experience working in an automotive or truck dealership service department is considered an asset
  • Previous sales experience promoting services is considered an asset
  • Superior interpersonal skills with an enthusiastic personality; able to provide an exceptional customer service experience
  • Exemplary time management skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced work environment and produce positive results with a keen attention to detail
  • Tenacious problem solver with the ability to identify problems and recommend solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Responsibilities
  • Advise customers on routine maintenance services
  • Determine automotive problems by actively listening to customer descriptions of symptoms; recommend corrective services and prepare work orders for repairs
  • Confer with customers about inspection results
  • Assess vehicles for outstanding recalls or updates
  • Explain the work performed and the associated charges to the customer
  • Address customer complaints and feedback
  • Adhere to all safety rules and regulations
  • Organize and maintain service department filing and records
  • Update client information as required
  • Cultivate and maintain meaningful, positive relationships with customers
  • Other duties as assigned
