Service Advisor

Whitby Toyota is hiring! Seeking an experienced Service Advisor who is highly motivated with strong customer satisfaction skills. We are looking for outgoing, customer-focused and results-driven individuals. Experience, quality of work, punctuality, reliability and attention to detail are a must!

• Greet each customer in a prompt, courteous manner.
• Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problems, and time required.
• Open repair orders on the DMS system.
• Schedule appointments using the dealership booking system.
• Handle minor customer concerns.
• Follow up progress of each repair order during the day, contact customers by telephone regarding changes in the estimate or time promised.
• Handle telephone inquiries regarding work in process and appointments and return phone messages promptly.
• Review work performed with customers.
• Interpret warranty information and policies to customers.
• Stay up to date on technical and performance information on all vehicles serviced by the dealership.
• Assist the service manager as necessary.
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards.
• At least 1 year Service Advisor experience
• Superior customer service skills
• Computer proficient
• Strong work ethic and team player
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Flexible to work retail business hours including weekends
• Professional, dependable, reliable and a commitment to provide excellent customer service
• A valid driver’s license
