Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £37,500 - £47,500 (Dependent on Experience)

About the Role We are looking for a skilled Service and Commissioning Engineer to join our team, specializing in PVD and vacuum equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting of high-tech coating systems at customer sites. You will work closely with clients to ensure their equipment operates at peak performance, providing technical support and training when required.
Additionally, you will assist in assembling PVD equipment, including wiring and fitting both electrical and mechanical components.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and electrical diagrams.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles with a focus on service and support.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including internationally when required.
  • Electrical engineering experience.
Responsibilities
  • Install and commission PVD and vacuum coating systems at customer locations.
  • Conduct acceptance testing to ensure systems meet operational requirements.
  • Provide operator training to technicians and engineers.
