Role: Service / Maintenance Engineer (Electronic Fire and Security)
Location: North of Ireland
Job Type: Permanent - Full time
Salary: €€ Excellent
As an Engineer on our clients Support Team, you will carry out routine maintenance and testing of fire and electronic security systems at client premises, with troubleshooting and repairing of faults. You will be the face of the company and have excellent communication skills, acting as an ambassador to position the company’s reputation as a leading and respected employer.

EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:

  • Competent using technology such as laptops, measuring devices, smart phones etc
  • Confident IT skills in the use of Microsoft office software such as Word and Excel as this is required for completion of reports, timesheets, asset registers etc.
  • Good Customer service skills as you will be dealing with our high-end clients on a day to day basis
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining Fire / CCTV/ Intruder and Access Control systems
  • Delivering high calibre customer service at all times
  • Assist with completion of necessary on-site documentation for customer files
  • Provide effective emergency call-out cover for security systems (including out of hours rota)
  • Cover wide geographic areas across NI with occasional work in ROI
  • Undertake continuous training to improve professional development
