Responsibilities/Job Description:
Fairview is looking for a Service and Product Assistant at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, Mn. This positions is approved for 64 hours every two weeks and will require that you are able to work every-other weekend. We believe the hours for this position will be the hours for this role will be Week One: Monday 5:30a-2:00 p, Tuesday & Wednesday Off, Thursday 5:30a-2:00p, Friday 5:45a – 2:15p, Saturday & Sunday 5:00a-1:30p. Week Two: Monday & Tuesday Off, Wednesday & Thursday 5:30a- 2:00p, Friday 5:45a-2:15p, Saturday & Sunday Off. This role is a member of the SEIU union.
Receive, deliver, replenish, clean and maintain supplies/equipment/linen/forms including: stat room, patient rooms, inventory locations, and other areas, as appropriate.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for MediumWork
• Walking-Moving about on foot; Lifting/Carrying-Raising, lowering, transporting objects 67-100% of working hours.
