Description

Contract type/Hours of work: -
Permanent contract is dependent on a clear DBS check and completion of a satisfactory probationary period.
Full time 40hrs Monday – Friday 8.30am to 5pm
23 days paid holiday with a bonus of an extra 2 days for 100% attendance and 8 bank holidays. Plus a complimentary paid day’s leave if your birthday falls on a working day. One extra day’s annual leave for every 5 years of service.
£27,000 per annum plus bonuses.
Overtime also available on a rota basis.
We require an experienced service and repair engineer to cover the Merseyside and North West areas.
Must have extensive experience of working on the following products: -
Vertical Home Lifts
Step Lifts
Ceiling Track Hoists
Stairlifts (straight and curved)
Including products from Acorn, Stannah, Thyssen, Wessex, Pollock, Terrys, Arjo, and Prism.
Must possess an in-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering.
You must possess excellent knowledge of the methods and procedures for testing, upgrading, removing, repairing and maintaining all types of stairlift, track hoist, vertical home lift and step lift.
Must haves: -
Clean driving licence

Skills

  • Excellent knowledge of technical systems
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and electronic diagrams, plans and drawings
  • Knowledge of lift maintenance equipment
  • Precision, attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
  • Good manual dexterity and practical intelligence
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Periodic checks and inspections of lift systems
  • Identifying and repairing electrical and mechanical faults and replacing damaged parts

· Excellent organisational skills
· Excellent communication skills along with a compassionate nature as we are dealing with vulnerable or elderly service users.
