To support our growth, we are looking for a motivated colleague to join our Service and Support team in Ulm, Germany.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completed studies in the field of physics, technology or engineering.
  • Alternatively: technician or relevant professional training with appropriate work experience
  • Strong technical-physical background that facilitates an in-depth understanding of our measurement systems in the areas of optics, electronics and software
  • Advantageous: Experience in the field of microscopy as well as spectroscopy
  • Ability to work in a flexible and solution-oriented manner
  • Strong communication skills
  • Very good language skills in German and English
  • Willingness to travel worldwide
Responsibilities
  • Technical customer support worldwide
  • Identification of problem causes in direct customer communication and with the help of remote support
  • Coordination of the repair of faulty components as well as the handling of repair requests on the customer and supplier side
  • Development and implementation of standardised test procedures
  • Realisation of necessary technical adjustments together with customers, suppliers and other specialised departments
  • Carrying out upgrade installations as well as service visits at our customers’ premises
