OVERVIEW

Working closely with the Service Department, the Service & Warranty Administrator plays a crucial role in managing day to day work orders and warranty claims. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can navigate warranty processes, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with various departments to resolve issues efficiently. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and possess strong analytical skills to support the warranty administration process.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple claims simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective customer interaction.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software for data entry and record keeping.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills to address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.
  • Familiarity with automotive or industrial warranties is required.

Responsibilities
  • Organize and complete work orders, reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
  • Prepare estimates for repairs.
  • Answer service inquiries and assure customer equipment is repaired as required.
  • Provide warranty support through the guidelines provided by the engine or OEM manufacturer.
  • Submission of Warranty Claims.
  • Communicate with customers regarding the status of their claims and provide updates as necessary.
  • Communicate with manufacturers on status of warranty claims.
  • Complete on-line and in-person factory engine warranty training.
  • Assist in training staff on warranty procedures and best practices.
  • Work closely with service Dealer network, assisting in training and set-up.
