As a support and client relations expert, the Service Appointment Coordinator / Junior Service Advisor provides essential continuity between the client during booking and appointment follow-up, as well as supporting the effective flow of vehicles through the service department. Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Effectively contribute to the overall success of the Service Department while striving for positive CSI results
- Take calls regarding technical and service related inquiries
- Make outbound phone calls regarding service needs and available offers
- Make follow-up phone calls to customers to book service appointments
- Conduct active vehicle side service consultation, documenting all customer concerns and update customers on the status of their vehicle throughout the day as required
- Listen to customers’ account of issues and symptoms to better understand what the problems are
- Ensure all vehicles advance through the shop in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide customer with an estimate of costs associated with the repairs
- Explain the service process to clients so they understand what to expect, when their vehicle will be repaired and what our transportation services are
- Prepare work orders for technicians and invoicing for customers
- Record information gathered from each visit in appropriate service systems
- Work closely with the Service Manager, technicians and other departments within the dealership to ensure you provide a positive and expedient resolution for every customer
- Maintaining the highest level of customer service
- Keep detailed records of appointments booked, phone calls made and customer comments
Requirements:
- Experience with CDK is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent customer service skills with positive and courteous telephone etiquette
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task without compromising on quality
- Ability to prioritize tasks according to importance in a fast-paced environment
- Automotive process and product knowledge
- Great communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to comfortably relay technical information to customers
- Strong problem solver and an analytical thinker
- Professional, personable, presentable, and honest
- Driven to provide the highest level of customer service
- Experience driving vehicles with manual transmission
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
